We arrived in Arequipa, Peru at about 11 am. It’s a beautiful town surrounded by mountains
filled with well-preserved Spanish architecture. We went to the town center which is the
historical part of the city. We had a
nice lunch and enjoyed seeing the town and taking a break from our long bus
rides before leaving that evening at 9 for Cusco.
Miercoles, 4 de Mayo
Llegamos a Arequipa, Peru alrededor de las
11 de la mañana. Arequipa es un pueblo hermoso
rodeado por montañas y lleno de edificios construidos del estilo española
antiguo. Fuimos al centro del pueblo que
es la parte más histórica. Comimos allá,
caminamos por el centro, y descansamos un poquito antes de irnos para Cusco a
las 9 de la noche.

You guys look peaceful. Continuing to pray for peace, unity for the team, and a strong sense of purpose. You are oaks of righteousness (Isaiah 61)! The cathedral and the mountains at sunset, WOW. Nothing like Houston. Hats off to the photographers.
